Hey y'all!
See? I'm doing better at posting on my blog! Lets see if I can keep it up.
So here's the pictures of me and Michael. I'll also put the video at the bottom. I'm going to also do a FOUNDATIONS video about Michael specifically. It will be at the bottom as well. Enjoy!

Hey Ya'll! So here are the other ways that I styled the VPONSALE Chiffon Prom dress. You can watch the video here:
Here is the first way I styled the dress both in the video, and in my last blog post. This look is classic, simple, and elegant. I kept the accessories pretty sparse to show off the dress.
Accessories: Rose Gold/Crystal Studs by Lauren Conrad for Kohl's, David Smallcomb Cuff bracelets in rose gold and sterling silver, and Lisa Taubes 42" chain necklace in rose gold, both available at TheCurrentCustom.com.
I love looks like this. It's sort of garden party or high tea look. This hat was my great-grandmother's, and the necklace was also my grandmother's, so this look has both a vintage, and sentimental value. I paired this with the same cuff bracelets and earrings.
I am a collector of vintage hats as you will see in this post. I bought this hat at an antique shop at Old Town Spring. I love shopping there when I'm in the area. This hat is fun. It's a beige color, with a velvet oval-shaped crown, dotted cream veil (with is in great condition!), beige curving feathers, and a pearl brooch. I paired this with a Lauren Conrad for Kohl's necklace, and the same cuff bracelets and earrings.
I LOVE this hat. It is so fun. I wear it all the time to church. I paired this hat with Funny Face matte lipstick by Nars, my tree branch necklace from Nancy Nelson Jewelry (Etsy.com), my tree branch earring from Red Sofa (Etsy.com), the same cuff bracelets, hot pink heels from Material Girl at Macy's, and a "designers" top (I don't remember the brand) from Target. I really love this dress because it is so versatile. You can easily change it from an evening gown, to a church dress or wedding-attendee dress with a top, sweater/shrug, or jacket.
The last two look are similar. In the first I pair the dress with a light pink sweater by Merona for Target, and a grey Simply Vera buy Vera Wang for Kohl's scarf. I like this look because it makes the dress, again, more casual, and it also makes it cool weather appropriate. Blush is a spring-time color, but by adding neutrals to the outfit, the dress is more appropriate for a winter party or event.
Also, because this sweater has a simple beaded trim around the neckline, it complements the dress, without either taking over, or being taken over. This is a GREAT wardrobe piece to have! I paired both these looks with the same necklaces, cuff bracelets, and my made-by-a-friend bullet earrings.
Finally here are some lipstick colors that would go well with this dress:
(Clockwise from top) LE Julia Dazzleglass Cream by Mac, Funny Face matte lipstick by Nars, Roman Holiday lipstick by Nars, Viva Glam Gaga 1 by Mac, and Viva Glam Gaga 2 by Mac
That's it! I hope y'all enjoyed this blog post and video. Don't forget to watch my review of this dress, as well as the blog post that goes with it! If you are interested in purchasing the dress, you can do so here.
Love y'all!
